The 38th International Conference of Physics Students (ICPS) took place in 2024 in Tbilisi, Georgia (check out the website). The event was organized by Georgian Association of Physics Students (GAPS) in collaboration with the Free University of Tbilisi. ICPS is an annual conference and is an project of the International Association of Physics Students (IAPS). GAPS is an IAPS member organization dedicated to promote science in Georgia.

More than 300 participants from over 50 countries attended the conference, taking part in workshops, parallel oral and poster sessions, and plenary lectures by leading physicists from around the world.

The conference was widely regarded as a success, with strong engagement across sessions and consistently positive feedback from student attendees and guest speakers.

My main roles were Head of IT and Data Protection Officer. My responsibilities included managing registration and communication systems, coordinating the technical setup for sessions, and providing on-site support so that talks, posters, and workshops ran smoothly.
